Guests at the Lodge can enjoy the
experience of some of
Newfoundland's finest fishing, on
the Long Harbour River. A
professional Guide is available to
challenge the experienced angler as
well as excite the novice. While the
main species of fish is Atlantic
Salmon, there are also American
smelt, brook trout, eel and
stickleback in the river. There are
two major runs of salmon each
year, in early to mid June and late
July.
The fishing Lodge is situated on one
of the most attractive points of the
river overlooking a good salmon
pool. Walkways and steps make it
easy to access the river.
