The Lodge
Boasting extraordinary views, incomparable solitude, and the longest salmon fishing season in Newfoundland, Canadian Northern Outfitters Paradise Lodge offers visitors an escape like no-other.
The location was first scouted in the late 1970’s and chosen for its direct access to the salmon fishing pool. Although close to the River, the site lacked the amenities that would later make the Paradise Lodge a desirable vacation destination.
Over the next twenty years, the Paradise Lodge evolved from a campsite, to a wood platform, to the luxurious resort you see today. Along with the expected modern conveniences, guests have exclusive access to a rejuvenating wood-fired sauna, top-quality meals prepared by our executive chef, a vast selection of wines chosen by our on-site sommelier, and so much more.
