The River
The Long Harbour River provides one of the earliest salmon fishing seasons in the province, with the first run occurring mid-June, and the second run in late July.
As our greatest attraction, the River gives experienced anglers and novice fishers alike the opportunity to escape into nature, disconnect from the busy modern world, and develop their skills on the water. Along with Atlantic Salmon, the River is also home to American smelt, brook trout, eel, and stickleback.
If you run out of luck at the salmon pool near our resort, we have a private helicopter that can take you to any of the other salmon pools that are peppered throughout the surrounding area.
